Mission Statement
The mission of Grandview Baseball and Softball Association (GBSA) is to provide kids with a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child, regardless of skill level, has the opportunity to learn how to play baseball and softball and be a part of a team.
Fun
GBSA provides youth with fun opportunities to play baseball and softball. Kids will be taught baseball and softball basics and will have opportunities to try different positions on the field.
Skill Development
GBSA coaches provide entry-level, age-appropriate basic baseball/softball instruction to kids. A balance of practices and games will help your players develop while increasing their interest in the games of softball and baseball.
Inclusivity
All kids - in and beyond Grandview - are encouraged to participate in GBSA! Regardless of skill level, kids will receive baseball and softball instruction, feedback, and encouragement throughout the season. GBSA offers scholarships to families in need.
Safety
GBSA coaches are required to pass background checks and prioritize safe training, competition, and equipment.
Sportsmanship
ALL GBSA participants are expected to compete with sportsmanship and learn to work as a team. Events like Columbus Clippers night and movie night complement on-field action by building friendships and team comradery.
