Our League Values
Mission Statement
The mission of Grandview Baseball and Softball Association (GBSA) is to provide kids with a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child, regardless of skill level, has the opportunity to learn how to play baseball and softball and be a part of a team.
Skill Development
GBSA coaches provide entry-level, age-appropriate basic baseball/softball instruction to kids.
Inclusivity
ALL Grandview kids are encouraged to participate in GBSA! Regardless of skill level, kids will receive baseball and softball instruction, feedback, and encouragement throughout the season.
Safety
GBSA coaches are required to pass background checks and prioritize safe training, competition, and equipment.
Teamwork & Sportsmanship
ALL GBSA participants are expected to compete with sportsmanship. Events like Columbus Clippers night and movie night complement on-field action by building friendships and team comradery.
Fun
GBSA provides youth with fun opportunities to play baseball and softball. Kids will be taught baseball and softball basics and will have opportunities to try different positions on the field.
